Sue Ellen has been a valued part of the CIIG team since October 2017, bringing more than 30 years of experience across human resources, training, accounting, and business operations. Her diverse background and deep industry knowledge make her a key part of delivering a smooth and successful client experience.

As Director of Benefits New Business, Sue Ellen plays a critical role in launching each client relationship. She works closely with Advisors to ensure a seamless transition from sale to onboarding, setting the tone for an exceptional experience from day one.

A lifelong resident of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Sue Ellen is a graduate of Rock Hill High School and attended Winthrop College. She began her career in human resources, serving as an HR Manager in Charlotte before becoming a Training Coordinator for The Employers Association. During this time, she earned both her PHR and SPHR designations, demonstrating her commitment to excellence and professional growth.

Her career later expanded into accounting and business management, where she spent 17 years as a Controller in motorcycle and automotive dealerships.

Outside of work, Sue Ellen enjoys spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren, as well as football and traveling.
