Hello, I am A. Watts Huckabee, Sr., president and founder of CIIG. I began my career in the insurance industry after earning a business degree from Winthrop University in 1989.

I believe my parents backgrounds have given me a careful balance of strengths between my parents that provided me the natural platform of success in an insurance industry that incorporates understanding a client’s needs coupled with the ability to mitigate risk with the purchase of a product that meets our valued client’s needs.

 

Over my 29 year career, I’ve learned how important our teams role is in delivering more than what our clients expect, while limiting an employer’s role in managing the insurance plans we implement. Our challenge is to intentionally evolve our agencies foundational structure so we can deliver innovative technological platforms that directly impact outcomes on behalf of our clients and our agency.
