"There are five fundamental qualities that make every team great:  communication, trust, collective responsibility, caring, and pride.  I like to think of them as a separate finger on the fist.  Any one individually is important.  BUT all of them together are unbeatable.”

-Coach Mike Krzyzewski, "Leading from the Heart"

Jo Anne, affectionately known as Mama Jo, joined CIIG on September 19, 2000. She knew A. Watts Huckabee, Sr. when he was a member of the Winthrop University Board of Trustees. She has known Watts & his children for almost twenty (20) years & considers them her extended family.

The most important thing that she would like to share about CIIG is that they are like one big family, and that their main focus is making every client feel that no matter how small OR large their situation might be. Their goal is to take the everyday insurance question or claim issue and get an answer for their client as quickly as possible.

She retired January 2, 2018 after seventeen (17) wonderful years as part of the excellent staff & it was a hard decision to make & wishes CIIG continued success.  Since her retirement, she spends her time with her husband Bobby & enjoys the time that they can travel to the North Carolinas mountains.  She also volunteers with a friend to help with Meals on Wheels and she enjoys seeing the smiles on the faces as they deliver the meals to the individuals.
